The gear closet is your personal gear library — a central place to store all your gear items. Add items from your closet to any pack with one click, perfect for gear you use across multiple trips.

Items added to a pack are independent copies — editing them won't affect your closet or other packs.

A shakedown is when you ask for feedback on your gear setup from others who might have advice or more experience. Usually it's a way to get feedback on your gear choices before hitting the trail.
